ATPAM Member Mark Schweppe, along with his wife Ellen Gray and daughter Maggie, delivered fresh home baked pies to the Broadway Company of Hamilton on March 14 – Pi(e) day! Celebrating both that famous long-running mathematical number and the anniversary of the date Alexander Hamilton became a Captain of the 1st Battalion, 5th Field Artillery Unit, the pies – all specialty pies dating from the Revolutionary period – were made by Ellen – an accomplished pastry-chef, cookbook author, and food writer. A three napkin salute to Company Manager Brig Berney for coordinating the event and many thanks to Mark and family!
