It is with sadness that ATPAM announces the death on March 11, of House Manager Brian P. Gaynair in Kingston, Jamaica. Brother Gaynair was 50-years-old and had been a member of ATPAM since 1996. Brian started off as an apprentice manager with the Shubert Organization eventually becoming the House Manager of their flagship theatre, the Shubert.
Among the shows playing at the Shubert during Brian’s tenure were Chicago, Spamalot, Blithe Spirit, Memphis and the currently running Matilda the Musical.
There will be a memorial service for Brian at 11:00 am this coming Saturday, March 19, at the Stella Maris Roman Catholic Church, located at 62 Shortwood Road in Kingston, Jamaica. Plans for a New York City service will be announced.

Respected and well-liked by his colleagues on Broadway, Brian is survived by a son, Leighton, his sister and his mother.
He will be missed.
