Ever thought about serving on ATPAM’s Board of Governors – or as an Officer of the Union – or about casting a vote for the President of the IATSE?
If so, now is the time to act: nominations will be taken at ATPAM’s April 21 General Membership Meeting for 3 important elections:
ATPAM Officers. President, Vice-President and Secretary-Treasurer. 3 year term.
ATPAM Board of Governors. 6 positions from both the Manager and Press Agent Chapters – 5 regulars and 1 alternate. 2 year term.
Delegates to the IATSE Quadrennial Convention: July 17 – 21 in Hollywood, Fl. 4 delegates, elected from membership at large.
All members in good standing are eligible to run for any of the positions above.
Members outside New York are encouraged to consider running. ATPAM is a ‘national’ local and your voice, too, deserves to be heard.
Board nominations/seconds/acceptances will be taken at separate chapter meetings right before the GMM and then will be announced at the full meeting.
Officer & IATSE Convention Delegate nominations/seconds/acceptances will take place once the GMM has convened.
Nominations/seconds/acceptances may also be made on the floor on the day of the GMM by phone and may also be submitted within seven (7) days of the GMM by letter, fax, email, certified mail or hand delivery to ATPAM.
After the nominations are taken, nominees will be able to deliver candidate statements to membership.
Ballots will be mailed May 5 and must be returned by June 6. These will be ‘hybrid ballots,’ which means you have the option of either voting by regular mail or via the Internet.
Stay tuned for further updates and please don’t hesitate to contact ATPAM if you have any questions.
ATPAM thanks you for making your Union strong!
