Walter Alford

Walter Alford, a prominent Broadway press agent and a member of ATPAM since 1945, passed away November 6th. He was 90.

Alford, who worked on some of the biggest hits of the 1940s, 50s and 60s, counted among his more than 60 Broadway credits the original productions of FUNNY GIRL, TEA AND SYMPATHY, CAT ON A HOT TIN ROOF, ONE FLEW OVER THE CUCKOO'S NEST and the Maureen Stapleton-Piper Laurie revival of THE GLASS MENAGERIE.

Alford also worked in film and television in both Hollywood and Europe.
