BROADWAY AND TOURING RATES SET TO RISE ON
 SEPTEMBER 2, 2002

The Minimum Basic Agreement covering Managers and the Memorandum of Agreement covering Press Agents provide for increases in salaries and benefits effective September 2, 2002.

  • The new minimum wage scale for House and Company Managers is $1541.68.

  • The new minimum wage scale for Press Agents is $1757.50.

  • Vacation pay remains at 8.5% of gross weekly compensation.

  • Employer contributed Pension remains at 8.0% of gross weekly compensation.

  • Employer contributed Welfare (Health Insurance) increases to $158.03 per week.

  • Employer contributed Annuity increases to 9.25% of gross weekly compensation.

  • Per Diem remains not less than Actors’ Equity Association Per Diem rates.

  • No Changes in Holiday Pay for Managers.  All Holidays are at the rate of double time except for Veterans’ Day which is paid at time and one half.
