ATPAM and the Music Center/Performing Arts Center of Los
Angeles County (PACLAC) recently renewed the contract covering House
Managers at the Ahmanson, Mark Taper Forum and Dorothy Chandler Pavillions.
The deal also insures ATPAM jurisdiction in the soon to open Disney Concert
Hall adjacent to the Music Center. The agreement is a four year deal with 4%
3.5% 3.5% and 4% increases in each year of the contract. Most notable is the
inclusion of an Annuity provision in the new contract. Annuity contributions
will be diverted from the wage increase in the amounts 4% 2% 2% and 2% in
each year. There were many other improvements in the contract and absolutely
no give-backs of any economic terms and conditions.
